My best wishes to everyone in Alberta and around the world celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Ox over the next two weeks.

After a tumultuous Year of the Rat, the Year of the Ox dawns with new hope. Characteristics of the ox include diligence, hard work and positivity, all attributes that perfectly describe Albertans!

Though we are unable to gather with family or community, this is still the time to refresh ourselves by sharing good wishes and focusing on reasons for optimism  ̶  like vaccinations for our loved ones in long-term care homes, an eventual reopening of businesses and the gradually diminishing threat of the pandemic that means friends and family can be together again in the months to come.

I urge everyone to ring in the year safely and keep following public health measures. Happy Year of the Ox!

전 세계의 모든 사람들에게 행운을 빕니다.

 

격동의 쥐의 해가 지나고 새 희망의 황소의 해가 시작됩니다.

황소는 알버타인들을 완벽하게 묘사하는 자질인, 근면, 노력 및

적극성과 같은 특징을 가지고 있습니다!

 

비록 우리가 가족이나 지역 사회와 함께 모일 수는 없지만,

그럼에도 불구하고 지금은 덕담을 나누고 낙관론을 가질

이유들에 집중할 때입니다 ̶ 장기 요양원에 있는 우리의 사랑하는

이들에 대한 예방 접종, 종국에 이루어질 비지니스의 재개, 감염병

대유행 위협의 점진적인 감소와 같은 것들인데, 이러한 일들은

앞으로 몇 달 후에 친구들과 가족이 다시 함께 할 수 있음을

의미하기 때문입니다.

 

저는 모두가 안전하게 한 해를 맞이하고 공중 보건 조치를 계속

따를 것을 촉구합니다. 행복한 황소의 해가 되십시오!
